Chef Michael Whitlow
Michael E. Whitlow is the owner and founder of Big-Um's Table of Four. He is also the CEO of Big-UM’s Catering, an executive chef, and a consultant for our other upcoming businesses. With more than 10 years of experience, Michael helps chefs and entrepreneurs maintain their businesses usually by resolving problems within an organization.
Chef Michael Whitlow has always enjoyed starting and running a business centered around food. By the time he was 16 years old, he was one of the first young men to take home economics at Linden McKinley High School. Afterward, he spent time in the United States Air Force (USAF) from April 1972 until May 1974.
When he’s not working on his cookbooks, he is bowling, fishing, cooking, going to church, and teaching at school. Michael is a wise and humble small business owner, writer, devoted father, granddad, and great-granddad from East Columbus, Ohio.
Michael is a man that asks questions. He is an outgoing and serious-minded Christian who takes matters into his own hands when time permits. What he loves most in life are Jesus Christ, his home, and his family. His idea of a perfect day consists of waking up in a good mood every morning, a prayer, and a great meal.
He is currently writing various cookbooks to introduce you to how food represents us on a spiritual level. In his books, you’ll be able to learn several points and recipes that can help control what kind of food you and your loved ones should eat to boost your immune systems, especially against COVID-19.
